ICESCAPE

The story that takes place is set in a penguin village where all residents are happy, when suddenly evil snowmen take away the light in the village and store them in illuminating crystals. The village is left in darkness and needs saving. The player will take on the role of Penguin. The player’s goal is to navigate through five icy maps filled with ice blockades and enemies. The objective of each map is to collect all crystals in each level while avoiding enemies and strategically removing and creating ice blocks to navigate the different icy maps. The end result is to have collected all the crystals which contain the village's light and save the player’s. 

To play, you only need a mouse, WASD/arrow keys to move, and space to pick up/place ice blocks.

Each level has different maps in a grid-like top-down view orientation where the player can create multiple paths by destroying and/or creating ice blocks.

Each level introduces new power-ups and new obstacles, e.g. different enemies and their abilities, environmental hazards and harder to reach snow crystals.

The objective to finish each level is to collect all snow crystals scattered around the map until the player has completed all levels.  

PC will be the main platform to play Polar Icescape on, however, when the game gets enough traction - expand to mobile phones and consoles to reach a broader audience. The simple controls will make it easy to create for console play and touch screens. 

Polar Icescape is free to play and does not have any in-game purchases.
